Song and video Review : Pashmina || Fitoor Movie

The song is a romantic ballad between Noor(Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Firdaus(Katrina Kaif).

The song is composed and written by Amit Trivedi and you can thank Swanand  Kirkire for the beautiful lyrics.

The song begins with Katrina  uncovering a mirror reflecting muscular Aditya and then both cakewalk to the dance floor.

The background of the song is full of portrays, chandeliers and clay models all of which is used to give the song vintage look.

Don't forget the curtains which are moving in the direction of overwhelming breeze in  a closed room!

The song graduates from daylight to the beauty of darkness with chandeliers lit all around.

Aditya and Katrina glide smoothly through the song justifying various moods inherent to the melody.

The dance is intense but the only one thing that really goes missing for me is the 'Eye contact' which sees the coming together of two souls as one;eye contact is something which strikes a chord instantly with the audience and puts the song straight into their heart.

The song is mesmerizing to the extent that you are in a fix whether to admire the Amit Trivedi's composition, his voice or to be awestruck by the picturesque of the song.

You will realize that Katrina has added another feather to her cap by taking her dancing skills to another level when she goes solo. She is flawless.

Aditya has proved to be spectacular in his attempt to portray himself as the smitten lover.

Overall this romantic ballad is a break from the conventional style of romancing.

Here's to Pashmina...
